Very clean and tidy place like tell the rooms were sorta spaced out. Overall my experience was a 10 out of 10 will definitely be staying again when I travel
We love this little motel. It is older, but it’s clean and need as a pin. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are spotless. The sheets are nice. The pillows are nice. Everything is fine. Bring your own toiletries and don’t expect fancy towels, but we keep going there back every week when we’re working out of town.
We called months in advance to get a Non-Smoking room and reserved for 5 nights. Called about a question 2 days before and again asked if it was non smoking. Then called the day before and spoke with owner and again I was reassured it was a non smoking room. After 11 hours in a car getting there at 8 pm I was told that the owner put me in a Smoking room but he cleaned it special for me. Are you kidding? The room was clean but stunk like smoke. So we had to hunt around for another room. We needed a hotel for a week and so glad we gave them a second chance since we were staying a whole week and they are reasonably priced and very close to family. Very clean and we definitely got a non smoking room. Furniture is outdated but clean and friendly staff. Beds are comfortable. 2 bad things are the toilet paper was very rough and needs a new shower head. We were VERY disappointed in our service we received. They will not be getting our business anymore and I will spread the word on how they do business. Very poor!
I have been living out of my minivan for a little over a month and had a friend with me yesterday and I was really tired so I got a room with two beds last night. Being they asked smoking or non-smoking which was nice being we are both smokers and most places don't accept it anymore. Checked in and got key to room (felt that the value was good), room was clean and quaint (bed was hard in my opinion, but dealable), my main complaint about the place was I was really looking forward to bathing and when taking a bath there was no adjusting the water temperature and it was the coldest bath I have ever taken! If you're passing through like I was, I feel that it's great value with friendly staff (I just highly recommend not planning on bathing there). The water temperature is the only reason I deducted a star for the room that and the bed was hard for my liking!
A great cheap motel. The rooms are from the 80s and are smoke friendly and smoke free. Staff is friendly rooms were clean. It's close to gas stations and great food places. Only thing I didn't care for was that the ac unit in the room was broke.
A pretty good deal for the price. Quick off-highway location, near 2 gas stations, and a couple nice restaurants. The rooms were a flashback to the 80's but kept clean and tidy.
Checked in just to use the shower. Frozen pipes in my home in NE Ohio.... go figure. For the last 10 years I've traveled cross country too many times to count, too many hotels. Dav-Ed hotel was by far the cleanest I've ever seen. Not a cobweb or stray hair in site. Kudos to the cleaners.
Perfect location for my travel stopover. Clean handicapped room allowed me to watch over my truck and trailer. No coffee or tissues. But it is a budget location. Store across the street with diesel.

Short, honest notes are more useful than long ones. A few sentences about what worked, what surprised you, and who the hotel is best for will go a long way.
